Cashball Rules

  • Players must try to predict 3 wins, 3 losses and 3 draws from the Barclays Premier League each week, each successful prediction will earn the player 2 points.
  • Bonus points are awarded for successfully predicting the game with the most goals, the team to score the most and the team to concede the most, each successful bonus prediction will earn the player 3 points.
  • An extra 3 points is available for choosing a match with a red card.
  • Players cannot choose the same team more than once to win, players are allowed to choose the same team to win AND lose AND draw if they so wish. Basically you can’t choose UTD UTD UTD to win but you can choose UTD to win, UTD to lose and UTD to Draw.
  • Bonus predictions can be the same team.
  • Players can choose the opposing team to draw from any fixture.
  • Entry is £50 per entrant payable to the treasurer by the 17th August 2013
  • A monthly prize of £50 will be paid to the player with the most points at four week intervals.
  • In the event of a tie, the player with the most points in the previous week will take the monthly pot.
  • The prize fund will be divided up between the top 5 players after the last game of the season.
  • First prize will be £375, second £250, third £150 fourth £125. Fifth £100
  • There is a £250 prize allocated to the first person to achieve maximum points (30) in one week. This prize is only available once and if two or more people manage to score 30 in one week the prize will be split.
  • All predictions must be submitted before the first match of the week kicks off, any submissions recieved after the first kick off will not be included in that weeks game.
  • In the event of a fixture being postponed after predictions have been submitted, the points for that fixture will only stand if the fixture is played within the same four weekly prize window. If the fixture is not played in this window all predictions will be discounted thereafter.
  • To deter people from copying each other for tactical reasons all predictions will no longer be made public until after the first kick off.
